1. Select texts you want to search: Click items you want to search, clicking a highlighted item can remove that item from selection.
  2. Keywords: Type in the keyword(s) which you are interested in.
  3. Search type: There are two types of search available; one is Ranked, which use some heuristics to measure the relevance of each document to user's query, and the most relevant document will be shown first. Another one is Boolean, users can use boolean operators: &(AND), |(OR), !(NOT), (, ) to form boolean queries, all boolean operators will be ignored when you choosing Ranked query.   4. Display format: Using this option, user can control the degree of details of retrieved texts.
  5. Max_data_vol: Using this option, user can control the volume of retrieved data. The smaller number selected, the less volume of data will be retrieved; the less time to wait for downloading. Users can use this option and the display format option to make the trade-off.
  6. Search: Start the search, or you can start the search by pressing Return key after typing key words.
  7. Clear: Clear the words you have typed in and set options to default.
